Purpose of Position

To be a business partner to line manager, addressing complex management issue,
implementing and providing market-level support for human resources policies and
management practices with the objective to ensure an effective workforce so as to achieve
business objectives and maintain the FedEx APAC’s Employer of Choice status. |
Requirements

[Minimum requirements]
• Education : Bachelor’s degree
• Experience : More than 5 years experiences in Human Resource
[Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required]
• Must have in-depth understanding of the principles and processes in Human Resources
(e.g. compensation and benefits, selection, training) and Administration and
Project management (e.g. planning and resource allocation, time management).
• Must have knowledge of local law and regulations, and be proficient in the English language.
• Knowledge of logistics / airline / express transportation industry is helpful but not required.
• Must be proficient in MS office
• Must be able to make decisions, solve problems and conflicts, and negotiate with others
using active listening, critical thinking, and persuasion skills.
• Must have facilitation skills and the ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.
• Must be open-minded and be able to apply social perceptiveness when
guiding/facilitating/instructing others |

• HR Consulting :
To facilitate line management in complex human resources related issues,
towards a high level of employee engagement, and manage their people in line with
Corporate philosophy
• Strategic HR planning, policy and legal compliance :
To assist the HR Manager provide effective HR solutions or recommendations to local and
APAC HR management relating to manpower planning, employee movement,
and policy and legal compliance
• Recruitment and Selection :
To assist line managers hire the right candidates in a fair, professional and efficient manner
• Program execution, communication and training :
To drive the implementation and administration of all HR-related programs that enhances
or promulgates Corporate philosophy
• HR Service-Provider management :
To manage the cost effectiveness of HR Service Providers (vendors) in line with policies
and procedures |
